He unleashed his brush to express himself what he couldn't say out loud. He began to draw and criticize many of the political events that attracted his attention. His collection of drawings is an invaluable show of contemporary history, the hysteria of the Arab region and its continuing problems for it is a dose of criticism that makes political caricature effective.
Majd Rasmi is a Jordanian artist and cartoonist who was born in Amman in 1974. He currently works as a cartoonist in the London-based Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, he is the Secretary General of the Jordanian Cartoonists Association and a member of the Association of Jordanian Fine Artists. He studied art at the Institute of Fine Arts in Amman, he then worked for a long time in the Jordanian newspaper Al-Dustour before moving to work for the Saudi Research and Publishing Group, which awarded him the armor of the late artist Mahmoud Kahil.
His style is closer to the American style of illustration than to the traditional method used in the Arab world. It is evident that he is influenced by the plastic pattern through his unclean step and how he uses colors. He also relies heavily on symbolism in his drawings, as many events hold an additional meaning to the meaning originally intended.
Amjad officially gave the Arab press a new dimension through his innovations and style excellence, and was its ambassador abroad, where he presented his work in international newspapers and magazines such as Forbes, Le Monde, The New York Times and The Washington Post, which won the recognition of many Arab writers who celebrated him in their articles. Amjad Rasmi received the Arab Journalism Award at its seventh edition for his drawings published in Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper in 2008, which led him to be selected by the Dubai Press Club as a member of the jury for the award in the 2010 cartoon category.

عجز لسانه عن الكلام فأطلق العنان لريشته لتتكلم نيابةً عنه، وإستبدل الكلمة بالخط، وبدأ يرسم وينتقد الكثير من الأحداث السياسية التي استرعت اهتمامه. تشكل مجموعة رسوماته إستعراضاً لا يقدر بثمن للتاريخ المعاصر وهستيريا المنطقة العربية ومشاكلها المتواصلة فجرعة من النقد هو ما يجعل الكاريكاتور السياسي فعال.
أمجد رسمي هو فنان تشكيلي ورسام كاريكاتور أردني ولد في عمان عام 1974 يعمل حالياً كرسام كاريكاتور في جريدة الشرق الأوسط اللندنية، يشغل منصب أمين سر رابطة رسامي الكاريكاتور الأردنيين وعضو رابطة التشكيليين الأردنيين . درس الفن في معهد الفنون الجميلة بعمان، وعمل بعدها لفترة طويلة في جريدة الدستور الأردنية، قبل أن ينتقل للعمل لدى المجموعة السعودية للأبحاث والنشر، التي منحته درع الفنان الرحيل محمود كحيل.
اسلوبه أقرب من الأسلوب الأمريكي في الرسم منه إلى الأسلوب التقليدي المتبع في العالم العربي، ويتضح تأثره بالنمط التشكيلي من خلال خطوته الغير نظيفة وكيفية إستعماله للألوان فتشعر أنك تشاهد لوحة وليس رسمة كرتونية. كما ويعتمد كثيراً على الرمزية في رسوماته، فالكثير من الأحداث تطلب معنى إضافي للمعنى المقصود أصلاً.
أعطى أمجد رسمي للصحافة العربية بعد جديد من خلال ابتكاراته وتميز اسلوبه، وكان سفيرها في الخارج، حيث قدم اعماله في صحف ومجلات دولية مثل فوربس، لوموند، نيويورك تايمز وواشنطن بوست، التي حازت على تقدير العديد من الكتاب العرب الذين إحتفوا بها في مقالاتهم. نال أمجد رسمي جائزة الصحافة العربية في دورتها السابعة عن رسوماته المنشورة في جريدة الشرق الأوسط عام 2008، مما أدى إلى إختياره من قبل نادي دبي للصحافة كعضو في لجنة تحكيم الجائزة عن فئة الكاريكاتور في دورتها لعام 2010
