Dahdouh’s artistic culture feeds into his vigorous style. He is a cultured activist artist who voices social reality in his caricatures.
Abdul Ghani Dahdouh was born in Tangier in the north of Morocco on 23 October 1973. He has been a caricaturist with Al-Massae daily newspaper since 2008. He held the position of editor-in-chief for Sahafat Alyawm newspaper between 2006 and 2007.
Dahdouh also headed the judges’ panel for the Caricature Award of the Talent Contest in Morocco and was the general coordinator for the Chefchaouen Festival of Cartoons in 2018. He is currently the president of the Moroccan Association of Cartoonists (AMC).
Dahdouh’s record includes a practical journalistic experience with Al-Ayam newspaper in 2014 and Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper in 2016.
For the artist, caricature is an integral part of journalism and their evolution is intertwined. He considers caricature a humanitarian message and finds inspiration in the streets of life.

المغرب
شكلت ثقافته الفنية خطوطه القوية في الرّسم ، فكان رساماً مثقفاً حمل نياشين المناضل، مترجماً الواقع الاجتماعي إلى رسوم كاريكاتورية .
ولدَ عبد الغني الدّهدوه في طنجة في شمال المغرب في 23 تشرين الأول (أكتوبر) عام 1973، ويعمل حالياً رساماً للكاريكاتير في يوميّة المساء منذ 2008 . عمل الدّهدوه كرئيس تحريرِ سابق لجريدة صحافة اليوم بين العامين 2006 و 2007.
لم تقتصر تجربته على الرسم، بل ترأس لجنة تحكيم جائزة الكاريكاتير للمواهب بالمغرب وكما عمل منسقا ومؤسسا لمهرجان شفشاون للكاريكاتير عام 2018 . وهو الآن رئيس الجمعية المغربية لرسامي الكاريكاتير ِAMC.
كان للدّهدوه تجربةً صحفيةً عملية في صحيفة الأيّام في 2014 وفي صحيفة العربي الجديد في 2016.
ولهذا يعتبر الدّهدوه أنّ الكاريكاتور هو جزء من الصحافة ، سيتطور كلما تطورت الصحافة ، فالكاريكاتور رسالةً انسانية كما يقول ، وهكذا يتابع فنّه الذي يستلهمه من الشارع والواقع.
